Rita de Carvalho is a Trainee Lawyer at Victoria Associates since September 2022. She will take the Portuguese Bar Association Exam and become a qualified Lawyer in the Summer of 2024. Rita is also a qualified Mediator, admitted to the Portuguese Ministry of Justice’s List of Mediators.

She holds an LLM in Litigation and Arbitration from the NOVA School of Law and is the Executive Director of the NOVA Dispute Resolution Forum (A NOVA Knowledge Centre) since November 2022. Her research is mostly focused on International Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution. 

As a Trainee Lawyer, Rita assists Victoria Associates in all matters, with particular focus on international Arbitration and Mediation.

Before joining Victoria Associates Rita was an Intern at a boutique law firm specialized in Construction disputes based in Lisbon.

Rita was also a Summer Intern at PRA – Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados, SP, RL in 2019.
